In DC circuits, voltage drop gradually drops as electric current moves through long length of LED strip light. This can lead to one end of your strip lights being brighter than the other end.
CCT controller makes the colors changes. It basically sends out a signal to control the lights.
Some customers may need several reels (5M/Reel) of dual color LED strips running continuous longer distances to suit for their lighting applications. If someone wants control all reels CCT strip lights at the same time with the same colors, he will need to transfer the signal from the first run to the second. Otherwise, LED strip sections that are far away from its transformer are not as bright as the head of the strip. So an amplifier is needed to transform the signal from the first run to the second.
